Late Evening and Weekend Appointments via the Better Access Service
More routine primary care appointments now available
Catterick Village and Colburn Surgeries are currently participating in the Better Access service, which provides additional routine appointments throughout the area.
A variety of clinics are held across the week, offering increased access to routine appointments for people living in our region. Patients registered at GP practices across Hambleton, Richmondshire, and Whitby can pre-book a routine primary care appointment between 6:30pm and 8:00pm on weekdays, and until noon on Saturdays.
Appointments are provided by local GPs, nurse practitioners, physiotherapists, and pharmacists.
Please contact the practice for more details on how to book one of these appointments.
Please note: this is not a walk-in service.
To book one of these appointments, please speak to a member of our reception team.
When The Surgery Is Closed
When the surgery is closed, our telephone line is automatically redirected to the NHS 111 non-emergency service. This service is staffed by a team of healthcare professionals who can provide medical advice over the phone. If they believe your condition requires further attention, they will contact the on-call doctor in your area.
This out-of-hours service operates during evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays. It is commissioned by the North Yorkshire and Humber ICB.
In an emergency, always call 999.
You can also use NHS 111 online (111.nhs.uk). 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Emergency Dentist
